When I first entered Polytechnic, I joined the Rugby team upon the recommendation of my peers. In the early stages, I struggled with the steep skill gap and considered quitting. However, my teammates encouraged me to stay and reassured me that I belonged. Two years later, I had the honor of representing Republic Polytechnic in 10 matches, including both competitive games and friendlies.
Looking back on my three-year journey with the team, I’ve come to realize how much I’ve grown. Rugby has taught me invaluable lessons about perseverance, the rewards of hard work, and of course, the strong team spirit we developed.
